Visual Hierarchy
Visual hierarchy creates emphasis on some sections of a composition so that it can control the order in that the viewer looks at elements. Without emphasis, a composition will look boring and can hinder how easily the viewer and read the content.

Emphasis in text can be created by creating contrast by changing the size, color, underlining, bold,
Use of Headers for defining clear sections/categories
Bolding key concepts in each section for quick reviews
Use small text/italicized for information required for reference (citation) but not required for user comprehension.
Emphasize
Key data findings—emphasize the numbers when presenting statistics to highlight the data.
Bold text that contains the key content within a paragraph—avoid emphasizing too much text, otherwise the “emphasis” will get lost and be redundant.
